About Us
Our society was formed in 1981 by the Rev David Wiseman, who was then the minister of the United Reformed Church in Poulton. The society currently has a healthy number of members.
Meetings are held monthly in Poulton Methodist Church on Queensway at 2pm on the 2nd Friday of the month at 2pm except June, July and August.
Everyone is welcome, entry is free to members, with a £2 entry fee for non-members.
The Aims of the Society are:
● To promote and preserve the history and heritage of Poulton-le-Fylde and its surrounding communities;
● provide a forum for those with an interest in the history and heritage of the town;
● encourage research and the exchange of information on local history.
For further details, see our Programme page. See also our Facebook Page for information about various events and activities in Poulton of interest to members and friends of PHCS.
