About Us

Our society was formed in 1981 by the Rev David Wiseman, who was then the minister of the United Reformed Church in Poulton.  The society currently has a healthy number of members.

The Aims of the Society are:

● To promote and preserve the history and heritage of Poulton-le-Fylde and its surrounding communities;

● encourage research and the exchange of information on local history;

● provide a forum for those with an interest in the history and heritage of the town.
